Our Holiday Caravan

If you are looking for a week or 2 or even a weekend, of relaxing and getting away from it all, here at Westview, we have a holiday caravan that will make an ideal retreat for you.

Set in the gardens, this caravan will sleep up to 6 persons, with one double room with ensuite wc & hand basin, a twin room, and bathroom with shower, wc and hand basin.

The Lounge has a settee which makes in to a double bed also.

All the things you need are in the mobile home, kitchen with all the things you need in it.

The lounge has CD player, TV & DVD, IPod dock for your own music, there is a selection of DVDs and CDs in case you forget to bring some, also a large selection of paperback books.

If you get here and all you want to do is unwind on the decked veranda looking to the south with a lovely view of Morecambe Bay Estuary, over to the west the Lakeland hills can be seen, with peace and quiet all around you can totally relax.

All bedding and towels are provided, so all you need are your clothes and supplies to keep you going.

For the more energetic, bring your walking boots and/or mountain bikes and you can have many a mile of exploring.

We are ideally situated for the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales. We are 5 miles from the lovely market town of Kirkby Lonsdale and the famous “Devils Bridge” and “Ruskin’s View”, you could spend a day looking around this old market town, with lovely walks and a choice of pubs and cafes to enjoy a relaxing lunch, also there are some lovely shops to tempt you.

The larger market town of Kendal is 5 miles away, in the opposite direction, famous for the “Kendal Mint Cake”, which will keep you going on your hikes!

As we are only 5 minute drive from junction 36 of the M6 we are central for a holiday exploring the Lakes and Dales without having to run with the crowds.
Many of our visitors return year after year, some coming 2 or 3 times a year, as every season brings something new to see.
